The Hill Holder System is a electronically operated from experience, which automatically helps the driver during hill starts.
A sensor detects when the car is stopped on a sloping road and the engine is running, in gear and pressed the brake, the controller activates the ESP keeps braking even after releasing the brake.
this for a couple of seconds, just long enough for the driver to accelerate and leave.
Very useful especially when you find yourself in a column on an uphill road which often require time and restarts the car tends to move back quite a bit before heading forward. With this system, however it is easiest to start without any way back, reducing the risk of crashing the car that follows us.
