The International Festival Director Award Fantasio Piccoli, ever-growing art, has broadened its horizons in Europe. The 2009 edition will see the inclusion of two important new international selections (the now well-established German selection goes from 1 to 3 selections): the first in France (Paris) and the second in Spain (Madrid). This will allow the participation of a growing number of foreign directors.
also increase the national selections: Parma, Italy for the North, and further selection in Rome, given the extensive involvement of directors from the Centre.
As every year, the directors must be a text the same for all, will have access to 18 minutes. Each of them will work with full freedom, using their own style, his own imagination, his artistic talent.
The winners of the Regional Festival will receive a prize of 350 €, the winner of the International Festival will have the option to choose between the usual prize money of € 1,000, or a budget of € 2000 for the production of the show in the competition. To achieve this show will be entitled to a residence of 20 days (lodging and theater). Several other awards are for the first three places, including a work contract of € 2000 under the direction of a show.
